1. Company and scope

This website and Handshake are operated by SRD MEDIA GROUP INC. These terms describe use of the website and our services. Use them together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms applicable to a service, do not use that service.

The iPhone application is in development and is not yet publicly available. Screenshots and descriptions are previews, not a promise of a release date or access to unfinished features. This website does not sell subscriptions or accept payments.

2. App license and Apple services

When distributed through the App Store, the app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a different license is explicitly supplied with it. These website and service terms do not replace that agreement or Apple’s applicable purchase terms. Where a conflict concerns the app license or an Apple transaction, the applicable Apple agreement controls.

SRD MEDIA GROUP INC. is responsible for its own website and support services. Apple is not the operator of this website. Apple, iCloud and other third-party services have their own terms and availability requirements.

3. Appropriate use and your content

Use Handshake for lawful professional networking. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, permission to use other people’s information, and the messages and exports you choose to send. Do not use the service to harass, impersonate, send unlawful spam, bypass security, scrape restricted information or infringe another person’s rights.

You retain rights to your contacts, notes and other content. These terms do not give us ownership of your networking records or permission to publish them. We use information sent to us only to provide the requested service and as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Guidance, goals and outcomes

Conversation prompts and follow-up drafts are editable suggestions based on information you provide. Review them before use. They are not verified personal facts, professional advice or a guarantee of a business result. Points and achievements are motivational features with no cash or exchange value.

5. Planned subscriptions

The planned launch includes one free event with no time limit. Handshake Pro will enable additional events at a proposed US base price of US$7.99 per month or US$59.99 billed annually. These plans are not currently on sale. Local pricing, taxes, eligibility, features and billing periods will be shown in the App Store before purchase.

When offered, payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged according to the price and timing displayed by Apple. You can manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation generally stops the next renewal; access continues for the paid period, subject to Apple’s terms and applicable law.

Existing contacts, notes, events and exports remain accessible after Pro access expires; creating additional events requires active Pro access. Uninstalling Handshake or deleting a sign-in account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Refund requests for Apple purchases are handled through Apple’s purchase support, subject to applicable law. No provision here limits mandatory consumer rights.

6. Backups and external services

You choose when and where to export or back up your data. Keep a current backup and confirm it has uploaded before deleting the app or changing devices. A backup is a snapshot, not automatic synchronization. Restore replaces the selected workspace after your confirmation.

Shared contacts, exports and messages create independent copies. Handshake cannot recall them, control a recipient’s use, or guarantee another service’s availability. Sign-in providers, CRM connections, AI features and team services described as planned are not included as working integrations. Any future connection will have its own availability, permission and privacy information.

7. Website ownership and availability

SRD MEDIA GROUP INC. or its licensors own the Handshake branding, website design and software, except for your content and identified third-party material. You may view and use the website for its intended purpose. Do not misrepresent affiliation, interfere with the site or reuse its branding in a misleading way.

We may update the website and service features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, the website and preview information are provided as available. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections. The app’s license terms govern warranties and liability for the licensed application.

8. Changes, governing law and contact

We will post changes with an updated date and give additional notice where required. Changes will not retroactively remove mandatory rights or alter a completed purchase contrary to applicable law. The website and company-service terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without displacing protections or legal forums that mandatory law gives you. Apple’s agreements separately govern the matters within their scope.
